UFO Hessdalen; video interview - flying saucer sighting:





A small clip with an interview of some cottage residents visiting Hessdalen. Interesting story, which includes an observation of a saucer shaped craft. Somewhat unusual in Hessdalen, - most often it is elongated, cigar-shaped - or egg-shaped / spherical crafts which are sighted. The clip is also interesting because the reporter's sarcastic attitude is representative of the public attitude of UFOs and Hessdalen as it was a few years back. Fortunately, things are better now.

Hessdalen, - daylight UFO sightings:

Today's post is from my point of view, as the author of this blog, a boring post to write, but hopefully of interest to my readers. I also believe that it is a very necessary post. The content is taken from Arne Wisths book from 1983; “The UFO mystery in Hessdalen” - entirely from chapter nine of the book, which covers UFO sightings in the Hessdalen area in 1982 - mostly daylight sightings.

1981 - 1984 was the most intense period in Hessdalen where it was made several observations per day - up to thirty a week. From 1985 to the present day it is made (or notified) a thirty observations on an annual basis.

Some readers probably wrinkles on the nose of sightings made back in the eighties, and believes this is old news. I believe, however, it is important to know about these early sightings and have them as a backdrop when you read about, and consider recent observations of the type “lights in the sky”. Internationally Hessdalen is known under the name "Hessdalen lights." I want to differentiate and create a more complete picture of what has been observed, and still is being observed in Hessdalen.

Lars Lillevold and his family live in Hessdalen. - 18 January 1982 changed my life completely, he says. - What I saw amazed me so that I have to admit that others may laugh at me and see me as a lunetic. But I know what I saw.

This evening Lars had an errand outside his house. The time was approx. 19.30. - Over the outhouse I saw something big, bright red. It must have been at least 30-40 meters long. As a loaf of bread it stood there, completely still. I expected to hear sounds. I listened, but heard only the murmur of the forest. Then "it" moved. The light was blinding. It looked as if "it" had a red, hairy like smoke that it surrounded itself with. It moved in a northerly direction up the valley. He shouted at his wife who saw the lights before "it" disappeared. - Since it was a craze for me, I had to see this again. And I have done many times later. Time and again I asked myself what this might be. I'm surprised that the authorities do not take this more seriously. I'm glad that others see, and want as many people as possible to do.

A man who has seen UFOs both day and night, is Jon Aspås. In late February, he called his neighbor, Martin Aspås, who lives a short distance further up the valley. The time was quarter past nine in the morning. Martin sat and ate breakfast and looked out the kitchen window when he saw an object in the air just to the south, in the direction of the houses to Jon Aspås.

Do you see anything over mount Rogne? Is it the same object that we have seen in the evening?

Jon ran outside the house. There it was, shiny and metallic. It was oblong and somewhat flattened below. It looked like it had a raised platform at the top, says Jon. It went south at an altitude that could not be more than a few hundred meters.

The following morning he saw the UFO again. Then it was also observed by others near Røros. At this second daylight observation, they could study the object for 42 minutes, as long as it stood quietly in the valley between Ålen and Hessdalen. Then it went straight east before it sat up a tremendous speed and disappeared out of sight.

Jon saw the UFO once again in March. It was passing the valley in daylight, but very fast. Once it went four times between the valley and mount Finnsåhøgda, back and forth.

Berit Mary Kjerrengvold lives in Hessdalen. Tuesday before Easter she was on her way from Ålen towards Røros in her car. With her she had an acquaintance, Anita Trygstad from Røros. Approx. at. 13.00 they were a mile south of Ålen, on a slight incline. On the right side, they discovered something dark that was not moving over the treetops. The object appeared elongated and were sort of standing at an angle. It was metallic silver and quite large. The sun was up, and should reflect the object's metallic color. It did not, it looked more as if the metal had its own "glow". They did not stop the car and saw the object for approx. 20 to 25 seconds. In October, she and her husband saw a large object with two bright lights in front and a red at the rear.

Ingulf Rotan from Ålen have a cabin by Øyungen. 16.03. 1982 approx. at. 19.30 he saw a bright, shiny object coming through a hole in the clouds. It looked like it came straight from above, but below the clouds it flattened out after having made a "spiral movement". It continued to maneuver with strange turns until it disappeared behind Skarvan.

32 year old Aud Rønning was 23.03. 1982 approx. at. 22.40 on her way home to Haltdalen after a trip to Oppdal. Next to the bridge by Gilset she saw something she thought was the moon. Then she discovered that "the moon" was elliptical, with a slightly reddish, glow above. It came from her right over the roadway in front of her. She turned around. The color was sharp, orange-yellow. Right towards the car the object came, and Mrs. Rønning was startled for a moment:
Would it drive her down?

She estimated the Ufos altitude to be only three or four feet above the ground. She believed that it may not have been farther than 10-15 feet away when it suddenly went straight into the air and disappeared. At the same time, the car engine died out. It lasted just a few seconds, she says, but the experience is impressed in her mind.

Per Moen saw "something" in March 1982, at Øyungen. - It was in the evening, and I saw something I thought was a star among the trees. It was quiet and it sort of pulsated. Then came a powerful flash that lit up the whole area, and then it was gone. The object just disappeared in front of me.

- Another evening, I was at a similar place to see three of them at once. They came sliding inwards, two above and one below. Suddenly we saw a fourth object. Personally, I believe that it came right up from the ground. They formed a long N-formation. For several minutes I could study them. Suddenly there was the same as in the first case: they just disappeared right before my eyes.

During the autumn of 1982, I have seen similar things several times. One day I drove with my in-laws north in Hessdalen. They had never seen something, and wanted to have a look after all the talk about UFOs. Then came a bright "thing" towards us and turned up the river valley. The observation lasted for 2-3 minutes. Later, at 23 o'clock, we again saw it from the "plateau". It came through the clouds, down sharply at high speed and disappeared behind Finnsåhøgda.

Even in the bright nights of the summer 1982, there were reports of UFO sightings. A family from Bærum who were on holiday, have been unwilling to come forward and tell what they saw in June, when they were on vacation in Øyungen. But they have revealed to a person that they saw an enormous flying "thing" that "let out" three small "things" that flew with tremendous speed. The family ended their vacation and went home.

8. March 1982 Torbjorn Drag Myrhaug was driving a car into Hessdalen with his wife Mary and daughter Hallgerd.

The time was 22.50, and suddenly the family in the car saw an orange colored light to the left of them. They went out of the car and stood and stared in disbelief at what played out before them. - The moon reflected in the object, and we could through the light clearly see that it had a metllic color. The size was about like a car, and it was pointed in front and somewhat blunt at the rear. As a ghost plane the object passed without a sound. In the autumn the whole family was to study a similar phenomenon from their living room window, and later they have seen it several times. In August, the daughter Hallgerd with his grandmother, Ella Hegseth and her friend, Eli Benoa were in a cabin near Øyungen. Then they saw something that flashed in red, just west of them. This "red" thing was slowly moving, and they could observe it for several minutes.

The most remarkable happened in daylight around 16.30 on 23 October. Tom and Hallgerd was driving from Hessdalen towards Ålen. The road is very curvy there, and Torbjorn had to concentrate on driving.

- It was big as an airplane and silver metallic. No windows I could see where "it" glided over us, maybe a hundred meters away. It was rather pointed in front, and right behind I think it sort of was a bump. How long I saw it, I'm not sure. Maybe a minute. When we finally stopped, it was gone over the mountain.

Jon Arvid Aspås always spend the summer on a farm at Hessjøen with his family. It is located on a hill with good view of the valley. The family consists of his wife Solfrid, Ole Martin 14 years, Ann Kristin 13, Joar 11 and Sture 10.

Jon Arvid have seen UFOs many times, but only as a light, except for one occasion when he also claimed to have seen metal and windows.

The sun was still up at 19.25 o'clock 3 september 1982. The sky was clear, and Jon Arvid and the kids were outside. Then Solfrid saw something in the sky that came from the south, and she shouted at the others. - The object was like a fuselage without wings: Silver - metallic bright in color. (This is confirmed by the rest of the family). It was probably about. 2 km. Away. - It turned eastward, and came a bit east of us. It was so close that we could observe it from underneath. We saw absolutely no wings. It reminded us of the old airships that we've seen pictures of. No sound was to hear.

Jon Arvid ran to fetch his binoculars. As he came back, the “thing”disappeared into a cloud. - It was not big, says Solfrid. We wondered that we could not see it coming out of there. But it was gone.

23. October 1982, ie the same day as Hallgerd Drag Myrhaug saw "something" from her father's car in broad daylight, was Edvin Kværnes outside his house in Ålen. It was 16.40 when he over Ålen saw something he thought was an airplane. It went very slowly on the north course. He studied it carefully. It seemed much larger than a regular plane, he thought. It was difficult to judge the height of the craft, but Kværnes son is a pilot, and he thought it had the same height as his son used to hold over the area. Maybe around 5000 feet.

Kværnes tried to hear engine sounds from the plane. He listened. Nothing was to hear. And it went all too slowly. The plane turned east. But it had no wings! Startled Kværnes studied the flying object closer. It glistened in a silvery hull, but how closely he looked, he could not see the wings. As an old-fashioned airship it slid off. In three - four minutes he observed the object before it disappeared.

Kværnes was one of those who in January had seen the UFOs in Hessdalen, the first time north of the house of Martin Aspås. At that time, they saw it came gliding silently with two reddish light behind and "some strange light" in front. They saw the lights in front of the mountain, so it could not be an airplane. Almost every day after this was Kværnes up on the "plateau" and from there he made many observations of unexplained lights.

One autumn day he was at Øyungen along with seven other people. Then came the UFO he had seen the first time back - the one with two lights behind. And this time they saw clearly that it had a light in front. - One of the lights, I think was blue, says Kværnes. - You could sort of make out a dark mass in the middle. The UFO moved slowly and disappeared in the north. This happened at 19.30 o'clock at night, and the weather was fine and clear. Later, Kværnes saw a UFO once from his car in November.

Ole O. Baka is from Ålen. Sunday 24 October, he and his son Oddleif were on a trip in Båttjønndalen along with a colleague, Per Sten Lien. It was sunny and calm weather. The time could be around 15.45. Suddenly, they noticed something they thought was a plane on a northerly course. They saw it glide slowly toward mount Fjellbekkhøgda, and it shone in the metal as the aircraft turned and went south in Hessdalen. They saw that it had no wings, and that it was moving very slowly. The object was shining - and large. The did not hear any sound.

They agreed that it could not be a plane. It was more like a helicopter, for it had sort of a thickening in the middle. But a helicopter is not silent.

Ole Bendheim and his son Peter was on his way through the valley to Ålen by car on 24.10. 1982. The time was 15.40. They drove around a curve, so Bendheim had a good grip on the steering wheel. Suddenly he gripped even harder. What on earth was this? For a moment he thought that what he saw was a reflection in the window. But no, he saw it through the windshield and side window. It was a huge object in the sky and it looked like an aluminum pan in color. It took some time before Peter saw the same as his father.

The object was sliding down the mountain and disappeared for a moment at the forest edge. There it was sort of hanging over a plantation. It looked as if its length covered the entire planting area. Bendheim had slowed down, and the car went forward at snail's pace. Was there no one else nearby who saw this? A few hours before, there was a swarm of people in the mountains and valley. Most were hunters, as it was hunting season. Now he saw none.

- It reminded me of a movie, this that played out over the treetops in front of us. It seemed so supernatural. Could it be a mirage? As we could see, was "the thing" only three or four hundred yards beyond us. It should have been twice as big as a truck with a trailer. His son Peter thought it was even bigger. Any plane, it could certainly not be, said Bendheim. The object glided slowly along. Oblong, silvery, and the front ... there was something that moved, there?

In front of the object, it looked like it was a "dent" in the hull. Was it an opening there? Did they see cross through the object at this point? Was it the woods in the background they saw? Or was there something inside the vehicle that moved?

Bendheim've thought and thought about this. - The sight was so fantastic, so we forgot to study the details, he said. - At least there were no visible marks on the hull, it was completely blank. It was just this weird front. No light. No sound to hear.

Bendheim also believe that it was something that resembled rods moving in front of the vehicle. They were suddenly gone. - If we had a camera with us, we would have plenty of time to shoot. We saw this in seven to eight minutes. Afterwards, I thought that the word camera was not in our thoughts. Maybe we would not have taken a picture even if we had been able to. The visual impression overwhelmed us. We forgot everything.

"Oblong, silvery..."
The object disappeared behind a hill, and we saw it again. - Had not Peter been with me, I would not have mentioned this to anyone, said Bendheim. - What should one really believe? I have no idea what it might have been. Mirage or ... well, I do not know what. The military has been here and asked me out. I could only say that this was what we saw.

This collection of daylight sightings reports represent only a small excerpt of what was observed in Hessdalen during the great flap in the 80s. The total number of observations are ​​enough to fill books - and of a nature (close range, with the terrain in the background, etc.) that natural explanations, - like planes etc. can be excluded.

Still it is done daylight sightings of solid, metallic objects in Hessdalen and the surrounding area. As previously mentioned in this blog, the researchers estimate the percentage of solid objects to be somewhere between 5% (Teodorani) and 15% (Strand). The remaining percentage of observations are “lights in the sky”.

We do not know if “lights” and solid objects are two very different phenomena, or whether in fact the same phenomenon is observed under different physical stages. One can for example speculate that these objects are surrounded by ionized gas (plasma) as part of the propulsion (?) and that what appears to be lights in the sky, in reality are solid, metallic objects surrounded by ionized air (plasma)?

In some cases, it seems to be a gradual transition from solid objects, to "plasma lights". (“...it was surrounded with red smoke”, “...the metal had its own "glow"”, “... a slightly reddish, glow above”, “... you could sort of make out a dark mass in the middle” etc.

Other cases indicate that these are two different things:

If the "plasma lights" is a kind of unknown natural phenomenon (related to the geophysical conditions in Hessdalen?) it is tempting to speculate whether Hessdalen is selected as the venue for the testing of exotic technology (“anti-gravity” aircrafts, etc.) precisely because of the presence of unknown natural phenomena which can serve as an alibi, cover and camouflage.

Or is the "plasma lights" artificial manufactured technology being tested - eg. electromagnetic weapons? In that case, one can speculate that the solid objects with silvery, metallic hulls, etc., are supervising the technology and manages / controls it?

Operation paperclip and UFOs

Operation paperclip was for many years a well-known "conspiracy theory", that probably many readers of this blog are aware of. After many documents have been released in recent years, and besides, this 600-page report, it is no longer a theory but conspiracy fact.

However, what is relatively new, and perhaps not so well known, is the extent of paperclip. As the report shows, it is not limited to the recruitment of scientists, but also largely import of Gestapo and SS personnel, as well as various parts of German intelligence. These were among others recruited for positions in the OSS, which later became the CIA.

As the report shows, Paperclip consisted not only of scientists, but also of intelligence agents and officers, - recruitment of personnel (nearly 10 000 in number, large and small) and methods.

In addition, - new and advanced technology.

Paperclip can probably be related to a lot of what is discussed on different “conspiracy”-forums, and alternative internet pages. Among other, the program MK-ULTRA was initiated and implemented by the imported Nazis.

Obviously, a dose of Nazi ethics and ideology came along during the importation of technology and personnel ...

In the aforementioned article from BBC news:
"Supersonic Rockets, nerve gas, jet aircraft, guided missiles, stealth technology and hardened armor, were just some of the ground breaking technologies Developed in Nazi laboratories, workshops and factories, even as Germany was losing the war."

At the bottom of the article is also mentioned:

«Added to this, the large number of still-secret Paperclip documents has led many people, including Nick Cook, Aerospace Consultant at Jane's Defence Weekly, to speculate that the US may have developed even more advanced Nazi technology, including anti-gravity devices».
Said Nick Cook speculates in his book "the hunt for zero point"
regarding the possibility that recruited Nazi scientists, engineers and technicians may have had freedom, to such a degree, so that they could have continued their research quasi-independently, while the officially was employed and worked for the U.S. military.

Cook speculates whether they could have "reconstructed" themself as a "state within a state" - a "black projects coordination office" within structures that are otherwise under control of the U.S. government and military.

Perhaps it was something like this President Eisenhower had in mind when he warned against the moral and ethical dangers of the military-industrialcomplex's growing influence in American society during his farewell address in 1961?

This is demonstrated from a government document entitled "An evaluation of German Capabilities in 1945" - where foo fighters are known as "phoo bombs":

This technology, and related technology in the form of "circular wing aircraft" (which was under development in Nazi Germany), was probably one of the things one wanted to gain control of, and that may have been developed in U.S. black projects in the postwar years .

Nazi UFO:

More evidence of Nazi UFO?

This picture is something I came across in a discussion forum. Unfortunately, I have no information about where the image comes from, or in what context it was originally published.

Nazi rocket program; picture of unknown origin.

However, it seems to display a table that describes the Nazi rocket program during World War II, with detailed information on each missile type.

In the rightmost column, Fliegende Scheibe is described, which translated from German into English represents flying saucers.

Based on the description (diameter of 42 meters, test flight in 1941), it appears that it is the "Habermohl-saucer" we are talking about.

Is the image real, or are we talking about a hoax?

The details in the descriptions of the other rocket-types appear to be genuine as far as I can see when I check with wikipedia.

But beyond this it is difficult to conclude.

I will be grateful for any comments that may contribute to clarification.

Nazi UFO/The Bell, Roswell and MJ-12: Summary, conclusion, and a kind of proof(?):

Here is a preliminary attempt at a summary / conclusion of my two previous articles about The Bell:

"The Bell" was probably not a "UFO", but perhaps an experiment in cutting-edge physics?

It is from several sources claimed that "The Bell" project had as one of its aims to examine issues concerning gravity, and potentially develop fieldpropulsion / "anti-gravity" as a result of this.

The question then becomes whether any results of "The Bell" project eventually was used in connection with propulsion of other SS-initiated "black projects" - such as saucer-shaped aircrafts (which was originally intended for conventional jet / rocket propulsion)?

The reasoning is roughly as follows:

- The person or persons who leaked / hoaxed (?) "The white hot intelligence estimate" in 1998, may (most likely) not have obtained information concerning "The Bell" from Witkowski, since the information was available only from (at that time) Witkowskis unknown articles in Polish (the translated version of "Prawda o Wunderwaffe" - "The truth about the wunderwaffe" came first in 2003).

- Witkowski wrote about "The Bell" long before 1998, and could obviously not have picked info about "The Bell-fuel" from the later MJ-12 document.

- We then have two completely
independent sources on an exotic form of propulsion (which may sound like a form of fieldpropulsion / "anti-gravity")

- The fact that Witkowski mentions
beryllium oxides and thorium as elements in detail in "IRR xerum 525" in his early articles in Polish, confirms that the MJ-12 document that later mentions the same elements, is not fake, but real.

- That the MJ-12 document (regardless of Wikowski) mentions
beryllium and thorium as ingredients in the "fuel" substantiates that Witkowski was right,, and that "The Bell" experiments actually took place.

- If the details in the MJ-12 document (that matches Witkowski) confirms that the technical descriptions in the document are true, then this is evidence that the Roswell incident actually took place.

- The technical descriptions in "The White Hot Intelligence Estimate" suggests that what crashed near Roswell was an aircraft of German origin:

The technical descriptions is about unusual and sophisticated, but earthly technology: Ignition Coil, magnets, electrodes, engine, exhaust pipes, plastic, copper wire, battery and gearbox etc.

The Roswell-crash, majestic 12 and nazi-UFOs (the nazi bell?):

When I nag about the Majestic-12 documents - even though they are questionable documents that have been "leaked", and we do not know the source - it is because I share Joseph P.Farrell's view p. 285

that they possess:
1: An authentic level, where the technical descriptions of the Roswell wreckage are summarized. (Here it is a gap between the description of the technology and what one would expect from the descriptions of a technology of extraterrestrial origin. Conversely, there exists detailed parallels between the technology as it is described, and various "black projects" from Nazi Germany).

2: A level of
disinformation where the emerging "ET explanation" forms a deep "cover layer" of disinfo behind the official explanation about a crashed weather / Project Mogul balloon.

In this context it is worth mentioning another Majestic 12 document, «The 16. July 1947 Air Accident Report by General Nathan Twining toHeadquarters».


The MJ-12 document I wrote about in my previous post, was from September 1947, while this one is from July, and then immediately after the crashed occurred:

1. As ordered by Presidential directive, dated 9 July 1947, apreliminary investigation of a recovered "Flying Disc" and remains of a possible second disc, was conducted by the senior staff of this command. The data furnished in this report was provided by the engineering staff personenel of T-2 and aircraft laboratory, Engineering Division T-3. Additional data was supplied by the scientific personnel of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, CIT and the Army Air Forces Scientific Advisory Group, headed by Dr. Theodore von Karman. Further analysis was conducted by personnel from Research and Development.

2. It is the collective view of this investigative body, that the aircraft recovered by the Army and Air Force units near Victorio Peak and Socorro, New Mexico, are not of US manufacture for the following reasons:

a. The circular disc-shaped "planform" design does not resemble any design currently under development by thiscommand nor of any Navy project.

b. The lack of any external propulsion system, power plant, intake, exhaust either for propeller or jet propulsion, warrants this view.

c. The inability of the German scientists from Fort Bliss and White Sands Proving Ground to make a positive identification of a secret German V weapon out of these discs. Though thepossibility that the Russians have managed to develop such a craft, remains. The lack of any markings, ID numbers orinstructions in Cyrillic, has placed serious doubt in the minds of many, that the objects recovered are not of Russian manufacture either.

d. Upon examination of the interior of the craft, a compartment exhibiting a possible atomic engine was discovered. At least this is the opinion of Dr. Oppenheimer (sic) and Dr. vonKarman. A possibility exists that part of the craft itself comprises the propulsion system, thus allowing the reactor to function as a heat exchanger and permitting the storage of energy into a substance for later use. This may allow the converting of mass into energy, unlike the release of energy of our atomic bombs. The description of the power room is as follows:

(1) A doughnut shaped tube approximately thirty-five feet in diameter, made of what appears to be a plastic material, surrounding a central core (see sketch in Tab 1) This tube was translucent, approximately one inch this (sic),The tube appeared to be filled with a large rod centered inside the tube, was wrapped in a coil of what appears to be copper material, ran through the circumference of the tube. This may be the reactor control mechanism or a storage battery. There were no moving parts decernable (sic) within the power room nor in MISSING LINE HERE.

(2) This activation of a electrical (sic) potential is believed to be the primary power to the reactor, though it is only a theory at present. Just how a heavy water reactor functions in this environment is unknown.

(3) Underneath the power plant, was discovered a ballturret, approximately ten feet in diameter. This turret was encompassed by a series of gears that has a unusual (sic) ratio not known by any of our engineers. On the underside of the turret were four circular cavities, coated with some smooth material not identified. These cavities are symetrical (sic) but seem to be movable. Just how is not known. The movement of the turret coincides with the dome-shaped copula compartment above the power room. It is believed that the main prorpulsion system is a Modeless turbine, similar to current development now underway at AMC and the Mogul Project. A possible theory was devised by Dr. August Steinhof, Dr. Wernher von Braun (sic) and Dr. Theodore von Karman as the craft moves through the air, it somehow draws the oxygen from the atomsphere and by a (sic, et passim) induction process, generates a atomic fusion reaction (see TAB 2). The air outside the craft would thus be ionized, thus propelling the craft forward. Coupled with the circular air foil for lift, the craft would presumably have an unlimited range and air speed This may account for the reported absence of any noise and the apparent blue flame often associated with rapid acceleration.

(4) On the Deck of the power room there are what resembles typewriter keys, possibly reactor/powerplant controls. There were no conventional electronics not (sic) wiring to be seen connecting these controls to the propulsion turret.

e. There is a flight deck located inside the copula section. It is round and domed at the top. The absence of canopy, observation windows/blisters, or any optical projection, lends support to the opinion that this craft is either guided by remote viewing or is remotely controlled.

(1) A semi-circular photo-tube array (possibly television).

(2) Crew compartments were hermetically sealed via a solidification process.

(3) No weld marks, rivets or soldered joints.

(4) Craft components appear to be molded and pressed into perfect fit.

Some key points:

If the craft was of extraterrestrial origin - full of ultra-advanced ET technology - why were the three German (paperclip) rocket scientists called in to inspect the wreck? Thinking of U.S. secret projects' potential gain, - it would probably have been of interest to shield any ET technology from the Germans (and their possible contacts) two years after the war ended? So in other words, when the Germans were called in to inspect the remainings of the craft ( possible identification) it may be taken as an indication that the technology seemed man-made and of German origin?

Although the Germans were unable to identify the technology as something associated with German V-weapons, they were able to propose a rather radical form of propultion mechanism
for the craft, and consequently they must at least have had some suspicions about its origin?

Nearly all technological descriptions in the document has an "man-made" character, a plastic tube, ca. 2.5 cm. in diameter, filled with a substance that seems to be ... water, a coil ... copper material ...


Furthermore, there is talk of a heavy water reactor, and that the German paperclip scientists already are thinking of a nuclear fusion reactor rather than a fission reactor. Thinking of the equipment described, it seems a process something like cold fusion(!).

Something resembling typewriter keys are mentioned in connection with the description of a possible "power plant" control, and further a "ball turret" componenet is mentioned, accompanied by a series of gears (!) With an "unusual ratio", unknown to the Americans .

All in all, there is very little in "the air accident report" document that suggests something extraterrestrial, but rather very much pointing in the direction of technology that the Nazis tried to perfect during the war.

As mentioned previously, - General Sculgen and his intelligence agents speculated about the possibility of nuclear propulsion, - in other words
nuclear-powered UFOs in 1947.

The paperclip experts, Steinhof, Von Braun and Karman, describes a type of propulsion where oxygen from the atmosphere is drawn into the craft when it moves through the air, and also a process in which a nuclear fusion reaction is formed, so that the air outside the craft is ionized and thus drives the vessel forward.

As previously mentioned, it is my opinion that the term nuclear-propulsion is similar to field propulsion (“anti-gravity”) when the technology is based on a radioactive isotope to provoke these field effects.


In conclusion;

It may appear that both the official government documents - which of course are undoubtedly authentic, (represented here by Schulgens collection of intelligence memorandum) - and also the more dubious Majestic 12 documents - which probably contains a bit of authentic information mixed with a portion disinfo - largely supports the claim that the UFO phenomenon is of German origin.

If any independent Nazi "black project research team(s)" survived the war, and if the Roswell crash provide adequate evidence that such was the case, one can hardly imagine the shock waves in the Pentagon two years after the war ended ...

As Nick Cook puts it in his book "The Hunt for Zero Point": "All the better then to cloak the sensational discovery in a multi-layered disinformation operation, to conseal it behind the ET Myth".

UFOs and G-forces, - and the 1947 flying saucer-wave again:

Regarding G-forces:

How can people (with
known technology) survive the extraordinary acceleration and abrupt maneuvers UFOs often been observed to exercise - which in some cases suggest at least 100 times the G-forces? Most people begin to lose consciousness when approaching 10 to 12 G. ..

This is often mentioned as a "proof" that UFOs must be extraterrestrial, which I disagree on. One accepts that aliens are able to solve the problem of G-forces, but consider it impossible for us?
Besides, it can just as well be remote controlled, unmanned crafts that carries out the "worst" maneuvers?

My main point is that UFOs in 1947, according to the majority of the testimonys as they are reproduced in books that deal with the 47-wave, generally did not perform maneuvers that suggest that such forces were involved.

Claims of great maneuverability came later.

Maybe it's due to:

1: Escalation in the eagerness to describe UFOs incredible maneuverability from 1947 to the present.

2: A technological evolution.

Probably a combination, but I think option 2 is most likely.





During the wave of 1947, UFOs did not perform these fantastic maneuvers. It was reported amazing maneuverability compared to contemporary aircraft technology, but not so exotic that it must represent something extraterrestrial.

ET was obviously not in the mind of the general Schulgen, nor mentioned in any of the earliest documents concerning UFOs by the U.S. Air Force - this came later.

Schulgens memorandum, however, is full of references to German technology and research conducted in Germany during the war and in the years ahead of the war.

This tells me that what was observed in 1947, "looked all too familiar" two years after the war ended.

This is especially due to Nazi research on the boundary layer, as well as research on aircrafts with circular design.

Take a look at the document from 1936 I linked to in a previous post; - Wilhelm Kinner: "On wings with circular design" ("Über tragflügel mit kreisförmigen grundriss").

But what about sightings of aliens, some will surely object?

Regarding close encounters, meetings with aliens etc. I think it's important to keep in mind that most UFO sightings do not include observation of pilots / crew.

And in those cases when they are reported to not look like us, the "gray-aliens" and so on, it is important to check the source - reports can be manipulated, a manifestation of disinfo, etc.?

Ps! I do not reject the idea of ​​extraterrestrial life -, and I am not dismissive of that we may have had extraterrestrial visits once or several times in our history. Nevertheless, there are a number of facts that place the roots of the modern UFO phenomenon, that emerged in 1947, to Germany.

"No more hunting"; man-made flying saucers?

An extraordinary observation from September 1980. A year before the mass observations began in Hessdalen.

“The 18 or 19 september 1980, a hunter witnessed something that he probably will remember all his life. He was in the mountains, near “Elgsjøen” in the southern part of the Hessdalen area. There, he was hunting with two friends. It was beautiful weather, with clear sky and fresh, autumn air. It was about 11:30 in the morning when he suddenly got a strange feeling. The air became dense around him, and he felt that something was behind him, and at the same time he saw a shadow. He turned around, and only a few meters from him, "hung" three magnificent objects that looked like saucers. They had an incredible beautiful red color that sparkled in the sunlight. Around the saucers were a kind of brim or “wing”. The brim was composed of tubes resembling organ pipes and spun around. On top of the saucers was a platform, and on the right side something which resembled antennaes.

Under each of the saucers there were two holes, one on each side. The material that the objects were made of was hard to describe, but it resembled a mixture of glass and stone. The objects were about 4 meters in diameter, and they gave away a faint buzzing sound.

Suddenly, as if on command, all three objects got on its side with the top facing the direction of motion. In formation they disappeared over the mountains to the north.

The observer got scared and kept close to the cabin for the next three days. He has never been on hunting again, and the equipment was sold after this event.

The observer was confident that the objects were man-made, because it was "bad  metal work." He compared the objects with "great lumps of sugar candy”.

This photo I came across in a discussion forum. Unfortunately, I've found no information about where it comes from, or in what context it was first published.




The “Haunebu image” to the right is obviously added later. The interesting thing here is, of course, the picture on the left.

Picture text reads: "Gigantic German Foo-Craft Hunted by P-51".
... and continues:

May 11, Two days after Germany's Total Surrender!
It appears that the image comes from a newspaper clipping, possibly a book.

Most probably a hoax, but still interesting in my opinion, since the term "Foo craft" is used, and not "flying saucer" which was first introduced in 1947 - or the even later term; “UFO”.

Nazi-UFOs: "Flying Saucers were Hitler's A-7 weapons:"

An article from the Swedish newspaper "Aftonbladet", 10.10. 1952. The headline reads "Flying Saucers were Hitler's A-7 weapons.



Furthermore, it is stated in the article that German flying saucer-builders have been in the U.S. since 1945. The article includes an interview with Werner von Braun, who among other things says that there was a problem with the fuel in relation to the early saucers, but that they now believe that this can be solved using nuclear power.

This article was published in 1952!

I have, unsuccessfully, tried to find follow-up articles in both Swedish and Norwegian newspapers from the period. Unbelievable that this appeared in the public media, and then just disappeared!

Flying saucer-wave 1947; Schulgens collection memorandum, part 2


As mentioned in part 1, it seems that Schulgen is familiar with the Roswell incident, and that his 1947 memorandum is partly based on the Roswell crash and the investigations of the debris.


Schulgen asks to look for signs of unusual production of materials that could contribute to reduce weight on aircrafts:
“Unusual fabrication methods to achieve ecstreme light weight and structural stability particularly in connection with great capacity for fuel storage“.

Farrell shows in his book, Roswell and the Reich (2010), how a number of details in the descriptions of the debris can be traced back to Nazi Germany and the research associated with the German war projects in metallurgy, etc., which aimed to reduce weight of aircrafts - either research and development that indisputably
happened in Nazi Germany, or projects that there is reason to believe were probably happening.


Another statement that very clearly demonstrates that the memorandum is partly based on the Roswell-crash and the investigation of the debris is this:
"Type of material, whether metal, ferrous, non-ferrous, or non-metallic;” and “Composite or sandwich construction utilizing various combinations of metals, plastics, and perhaps balsa wood”.

I-beams of balsawood, balsawood or plastic-like material / other lightweight materials were mentioned by witnesses in the descriptions of the debris!

It is very unlikely that Schulgen would have mentioned balsawood without having read about / been briefed on the investigation of the Roswell debris.

It is also worth noting that Major Marcel mentioned a kind of porous metal in the description of the debris - that one could blow through.

In this regard, Shulgen writes in his memo:
"...boundary layer control method by suction, blowing, or a combination of both” and “Openings either in the leading edge top and bottom surfaces that are employed chiefly to accomplish boundary layer control or for the purpose of reducing the induced drag. Any openings in the leasing edge should be reported and described as to shape, size, etc. This investigation is significant to justify a disc shape configuration for long-range application”.

... And to the conclusion of the document:
“The power plant would likely be an integral part of the aircraft an could possibly not be distinguished as an item separate from the aircraft. If jet propulsjon is used, large air handling capacity, characterized by a large air inlet and large exhaust nozzle, should be evident. The size of entrance and exit areas world be of interest. It is possible that the propulsive jet is governed or influenced for control of the aircraft. The presence of vanes or control surfaces in the exhaust or methods of changing the direction of the objekt should be observed.”

On this basis, it should be clear what the U.S. air force believed they were facing, namely jet-turbine-powered saucer shaped aircraft (built in lightweight materials) which extraordinary maneuverability and performance was based on eliminating the problem of "the boundary layer" and thus reducing air resistance and friction .












W.A. Harbinson, in the book “Project UFO: The Case for Man-Made Flying Saucers (2007)” sheds light on "the boundary layer" and the porous metal Maj. Marcel mentions;

“Further; if such a craft could be built with a ‘porous’ metal that would act like a sponge and remove the need for air intakes altogether, it would result in ‘frictionless airflow’ during flight (…) such a craft would ‘slip through the air in the same way as a piece of wet soap slips through the fingers (…) the speed and manoeuvrability of such a craft would be virtually limitless (…) While the idea of ‘porous’ metal sounds like something from science fiction, it was in fact being developed in Nazi Germany (…) Among the many other advanced experiments being run in the wind tunnel in the Zeppelin works at Friedrichshaften were those concerning the different ‘porous’ metals, or ‘aeropermeable surfaces’ that were being created by the scientists of Göttingen, Aachen and Volkenrode - various compounds of magnesium and aluminium, sinterized and permeated with microscopic holes. It was called Luftschwamm, or ‘aerosponge’.

In other words, major Marcels description of a porous metal in the Roswell debris (which one could blow through) points directly to Nazi Germany.

Furthermore, to build an aircraft of this type would depend on making the hull thicker to compensate for the weakening of the metals caused by a number of microscopic holes, - or, - the metals necessarily had to be produced lighter and stronger - and one would therefore expect that Nazi Germany's research in metallurgy projects would be implemented at this - and that's exactly what several researchers have found.

Flying saucer-wave 1947; Schulgens collection memorandum, part 1


As mentioned in another post, General Schulgens collection of intelligence memorandum is one of three undeniable genuin Roswell-related documents in addition to the FBI document that recently arrived in the media. Schulgens memo deserves its own post.

In October 1947, ie. after the Roswell incident had taken place, General George F. Schulgen wrote a memorandum regarding U.S. Air force views on and knowledge of flying saucers/UFOs. This is enlightening reading, where it is said that flying saucers are
real, and that the crafts are based on German technology developed at the end of the war.



For many years, a fake version of the memo was in circulation. The fake version was virtually the same as the real with the exception of a single sentence that was added (more on this later).


On page 3 of the memo Schulgen states:
4: This strange object, or phenomenon, may be considered, in view of certain observations, as long-range aircraft capable of a high rate of climb, high cruising speed (possibly sub-sonic at all times) and highly maneuverable and capable aircraft of being flown in very tight formation. For the purpose of analyzes and evaluation of the so-called "flying saucer" phenomenon, the object sighted is being assumed to be a manned aircraft, of Russian origin, and based on the perspective thinking and actual accomplishments of the Germans.

In this context it is worth remembering that Colonel Blanchards immediate impression of the debris in Roswell, was that the debris was somthing Sovietish. Similarly Major Marcel, when he inspected the wreck, expressed that he did not know where it came from, but that he did not think it could be a secret U.S. Project. In other words. - There was nothing about the debris that brought the mind into something extraterrestrial.

If we assume, as many ufologist do, that Schulgens memo is partly based on the incident in Roswell (very likely, as we will soon see), the last sentence of paragraph 4 clearly points a finger in the direction of Nazi Germany when it comes to the origin of the UFO phenomenon in general and Roswell in particular.

It is precisely here that the fake version of the memorandum comes in with its addition (highlighted in bold) that changes the meaning of the statement completly:

4: ... the object sighted is being Assumed to be a Manned aircraft, of Russian origin, and based on the perspective thinking and actual accomplishments of the Germans,
it is the considered opinion of some elements that the object may in fact representant an interplanetary craft of some kind.

The person that wrote the fake version obviously does not want that one should consider taking the German angle in a closer look ...

For the record, it must be noted that the overall context of the document, does not give support to an extraterrestrial conclusion at all . On the contrary, the document points its fingers towards Nazi- Germany.





How?

(Based on Joseph P. Farrell analysis in Roswell and the Reich, (2010)):

1: "Absence of sound except for an occasional roar when operating under super performance conditions".

"Roaring sound" gives hints in the direction of jet and / or rocket engines, and thus indicates an earthly technology - which the document in general support.


2. “Extreme maneuverability and apparent ability to almost hover”.

This characteristic suggests, among other things, vertical (or at least almost vertical) take off, which means that a hypothetical base for this type of aircraft would require smaller facilities than bases for conventional aircraft - and thus would not be immediately recognizable by espionage and analysis of aerial photographs .


3: "A plan form approximating that of an oval or disc with a dome shape on the top surface."

This description matches the description of both the Nazi saucers and also the more conventional Horten flying wing design that Sculgen refers to.


4. "The absence of an exhaust trail except in a few instances when it was reprorted to-have a Bluish color, like a diesel exhaust, Which persisted for Approximately one hour. Other reports Indicated a brownish smoke trail That could be the result of a special catalyst or chemical agent for extra power."

This suggests again a kind of jet-driven vessel with a type of "catalyst" to maximize speed. This indicates once again an exotic technology, but not exotic enough to represent something extraterrestrial.

5. "The ability to quickly disappear by high speed or by complete" disintegration" and "the ability to suddenly appear without warning as if from an extremely high altitude.

This is the only point in Sculgens memo that could indicate something "more" than just jet turbines. The ability to "show up" and disappear should be seen as a sign of a more exotic type of field propultion / "anti-gravity". This description corresponds with the characteristics of american and british pilots regarding sightings of "foo fighters" over Germany during the war. Yet, one must note here the general Schulgens attempt to rationalize the extraordinary properties along the conventional lines (disappearence by high speed / sudden appearence as if from an extremely high altitude).


6. "Evasive action ability indicates possibility of being manually operated, or possibly by electronic or remote control devises."

Some ufologist has claimed that U.S. air force had a standing "shoot down" orders when it came to flying saucers, and this observation supports indirectly this.


7. "The greatest activity in the U.S. was hum the last week of June and the first week of July."

During this period the Roswell incident occurred, and Schulgen is probably familiar with the matter through hia "channels" and through public media. The reference to this period may indicate that the motivation for the memo is partly based on the Roswell incident, and that the timing (October) reflects the elapsed time in the investigation of the debris and that the memo also reflects the preliminary conclusions drawn from these investigations.


8. This strange object, or phenomenon, may be Considered, in view of certain observations, as long-range aircraft capable of a high rate of climb, high cruising speed (possibly sub-sonic at all times) and highly maneuverable and capable of being flown in very tight formation. For the purpose of analyzes and evaluation of the so-called "flying saucer" phenomenon, the object sighted is being assumed to be a manned aircraft, of russian origin, and based on the perspective thinking and actual accomplishments of the germans.

Note the statement "assumed to be of Russian origin ...". In other words, the door is open with respect to that it might be another earthly origin - something independent nazi.


9. "There is also the possibility that the Horten brothers' perspective thinking may inspired this type of aircraft - Particularly the 'parabola', which has a crescent plan form. Records show that only a glider version was built of this type of aircraft. "

Here Sculgen turns specific and mention a modification of the most advanced Nazi technology, he knows. In other words. - Schulgens best tip is a kind of modified version of the Horten flying wing.


10. “…where are these scientists now located, and what is their present activity?” And “What is the present acitivity of the Horten brothers, Walter and Riemar?”.

This, again, opens the door to another possibility - that we deal with an independent Nazi organization. Schulgen asks where in the Soviet Union (or in the Eastern bloc countries) these scientists are, but provides for a more general possibility - that they may be located anywhere and do anything for anyone.


11. “Are any efforts being made to develop the Horten ‘Parabola’ or modify this configuration to approximate an oval or disc?”

By asking this question, Schulgen reveals more about his own (and probably others), thoughts about what we are facing. Here he goes beyond the earlier assumption regarding Horten flying wing, and think now in the terms of turbine-powered saucers (With the high rate of climb, high cruising speed, ultra high-altitude capability, the ability to "almost hover" and thereby the assumed capability of vertical or nearly vertical-takeoff and landing by means of exhaust thrust vectoring).


12. “Boundary layer Control method by suction, blowing, or a combination of both” and “Openings either in the leading edge top and bottom surfaces that are employed chiefly to accomplish boundary layer control or for the purpose of reducing the induced drag. Any openings in the leasing edge should be reported and described as to shape, size, etc. This investigation is significant to justify a disc shape configuration for long-range application”.

This statement is explosive, for here Schulgen suspects that the Hortens or "someone else" has found the solution to get rid of "the boundary layer" and thus reduce drag and increase aircraft performance and efficiency significantly.


13. "Type of material, whether metal, ferrous, non-ferrous, or non-metallic," and "Composite or sandwich construction utilizing Various combinations of metals, plastics, and perhaps balsa wood."

Probably a strong indicator that Sculgens collection memorandum is directly related to the Roswell incident - because certain details described by witnesses to the Roswell debris are found in Schulgens listing! Specific, statements about "non-ferrous" metal, plastic and balsa wood!


14. “Unusual fabrication methods to achieve ecstreme light weight and structural stability particularly in connection with great capacity for fuel storage“.

Here Schulgen reveals his (and probably many others) thoughts on why such an unusual design was adopted, namely to reduce weight (and thus reduced the requirement for "thrust" of "lift" through the propultion system)


15. “Provisions for takeoff from ice, snow or water” og “Skid arrangements for either takeoff or landing.

Again an explosive statement, here Schulgen indirectly ask how on earth these things come from. and the answer, as he apparently suspects based on how the question is formulated, is a place with lots of snow, ice and water. Andes, the southern regions of Argentina and Antarctica?


16. “Jet propultion engines including turbo jets, rockets, ramjets, pulse jets, or a combination of all four”; og “Nuclear propultion (atomic energy). Atomic energi engines would probably be unlike any familiar type of engine, altough atomic engines might be employed in combination with any of the above types. Aircraft would be characterized by lack of fuel systems and fuel storage place”.

This statement indicates that the rest of the analysis of the document is correct, namely that general Sculgen thought in lines of conventionally powered saucers. But note that he also outlines a more radical possibility, namely nuclear-powered saucers. This must be viewed in context with his earlier statement regarding construction to reduce weight - because radioactive shielding of that time must necessarily have involved heavy weight, which requires as much reduction of other weight as possible.


17. “The power plant would likely be an integral part of the aircraft and could possibly not be distinguished as an item separate from the aircraft;” og “It is possible that the propulsive jet is governed or influenced for control of the aircraft. The presence of vanes or control surfaces in the exhaust or methods of changing the direction of the object should be observed.”

Again, a confirmation that the rest of the analysis of the document is correct; - because here Schulgen reveals that he not only thinks in terms of Horten flying wing, but more than suggest that the Horten brothers and other scientists may have been involved in something far more radical - the design of saucer-shaped aircrafts with the propultion system itself as the central component of the construction.

Conclusion:
It is important to note that "the commanding officer of the Roswell Army Air Field ', Colonel William" Butch "Blanchard, immediately suspected that the debris did not represent a balloon or similar, but something Sovietish. General Schulgens memorandum provides in this view, a context, and one can from this conclude that Blanchards immediate impression is near the truth, and further that the official Mogul explanation is simply incorrect, and probably an attempt at disinformation from official sources .

Moreover, the document itself not only points in the direction of Nazi technology, but something straightforward Nazi, and this means that the old enemy was alive, organized and well-financed and also "out there somewhere" and in possession of extraordinary technology a decade - if not decades - in front of the Americans and the Russians had on the drawing board at the time.

Sculgen asks "where is the Horten", "what do they do?", "what type of landing gear do the saucers have?" - In other words, where do they come from?

Contextually, it is clear that Schulgen believe they are Russian, but also keeps the door open for a far more frightening possibility, namely the independent nazi - "Nazi International".
